Am I the right Celebrant
for you?
Twelve years ago I stumbled across something I didn’t even know existed. I was deep in wedding planning when I came across the idea of a celebrant-led ceremony and something about it immediately felt right.
The idea that I could have a wedding ceremony that nobody else had ever had. That we could build it from scratch, around us, our story, our relationship. That no one else would ever have that ceremony, because no one else is us. That’s what drew me in.
What I didn’t expect was how much the process itself would mean to me. Our celebrant got us thinking about what we actually wanted our marriage to be — our hopes, our values, not just the logistics of the day. We spent real time together reflecting on our relationship in a way we might never have done otherwise.
The Soul behind the ceremonies
I’m a tea-fuelled, music-loving, slightly sweary celebrant with a love of mustard (the colour, not the condiment) and a soft spot for a retro vibe.
Based in Sheffield, where we’re straight talking, big hearted, and never boring. You’ll often find me spinning on an aerial hoop, singing in the car, or dancing in the kitchen with my labradoodle Bennie.
I work with down-to-earth couples who want something relaxed, meaningful, and completely their own. Couples who don’t want the ceremony to be the warm-up act. Because it shouldn’t be. It should be the moment that sets the tone, sparks the tears, and sticks in hearts long after the dance floor’s gone quiet.
I didn’t want a cookie-cutter ceremony. You probably don’t either.
I’d love to hear your story.
